Welcome to the redesigned Glacier Adventure Guides site!

We’re revamping our look to go with our new list of awesome adventures for the coming winter.

New page features include downloadable gear lists, image galleries and extensive trip descriptions. We’ve also partnered with a great company called Fareharbor to install a new booking platform. This software is designed to make booking your trip as simple as possible. New trips this year include winter camping in Two Medicine Valley and private ice climbing tours. These are outings you won’t want to miss!

izaak1We’re also proud to announce that this year we’re the official guide service for the Izaak Walton Inn.

This means travelers staying at the inn will have exclusive access for tours out of the hotel. Our primary Inn trips are Scalplock Lookout and Autumn Creek, whether by cross-country ski or snowshoe.

“The Izaak Walton Inn is a historic, family-owned retreat bordering Glacier National Park, in Essex, Montana. Specializing in outdoor adventure and serious relaxation, the Inn hosts activities year-round fitting any age, interest and experience level. This includes cross country skiing and guided backcountry tours, hiking and horseback riding, as well as whitewater rafting, slow float and larger boat excursions. No matter what time of year you choose to visit, what pace you’ll set your journey to, enjoy the nature, the history, and the hospitality found at the Izaak Walton Inn.”

lc_hostelWe also encourage you to check out the River Rock Hostel, the only one of its kind in the area.

This quaint, comfortable hostel is right in Columbia Falls and only two blocks from our office. It features a full kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, a master bedroom and bunkroom. Glacier Adventure Guides offers tour package discounts for guests staying at RRH. For those booking multiple adventures or longer outings, this is the ultimate base camp for your winter tour of Glacier National Park.

As for the rest of this blog, we plan on including more pictures, more stories and more updates, as well as tips & tricks and news about the Park. Stay posted for upcoming trip dates and opportunities to explore with Glacier Adventure Guides.
