July and August average around 81 degrees during the day and 50 degrees at night. Wild edible plants abound, wildlife is bustling, and the water is actually warm enough to swim in! Glacier Adventure Guides is permitted to guide more than 2.5 million acres filled with streams, lakes, mountains and cliffs, a wild playground that you’re sure to enjoy.

HIKING

Our hikes take you far from the crowds of Glacier and into the surrounding wilderness. Our local national and state forests are huge– encompassing millions of acres of untouched wilderness. Take a hiking tour with Glacier Adventure Guides and see wilderness areas most visitors never see.

BACKPACKING

Glacier Adventure Guides offers fully customized backpacking tours in the Kootenai National Forest. These trips are great for families and hikers of all ages and abilities. Get deep into the wilderness and off the grid in the lush forests of northwest Montana.

ROCK CLIMBING

Glacier Adventure Guides features full-day, all-inclusive guided tours of the best rock in northwest Montana. Whatever your skill level, our guides know the best areas to get you off the deck and onto the rock! These tours and classes include transportation, gear and food.
